On March 13th, BAIC GROUP and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) signed a business cooperation and advanced technology strategic cooperation agreement. The two sides plan to jointly develop power battery products and explore the NEV market.

On March 3rd, the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge (ADDC) of the 2023 FIA World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) came to a perfect end.BAIC ORV Team, as the only manufacturer team of China, won the second place among the manufacturer teams in ADDC with 32 points from the excellent performance of the two drivers, rising from the fourth to the third place in the 2023 W2RC overall scoreboard among the manufacturer teams!

The International Design Awards (IDA), founded by Farmani Group of the United States, recently announced its 16th award winners for 2022; and the ARCFOX charging pile line, which was independently developed by BAIC GROUP, won the Gold Award for 2022.

On January 15, the significant automobile event of 2023, the Dakar Rally, came to a spectacular finish in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This year's event was contested in Saudi Arabia, and the route crossed the whole territory from the west coast of Saudi Arabia to the east coast, covering a total distance of 8,549 kilometers

Recently, BAIC GROUP released its 2022 annual performance report. In 2022, BAIC GROUP achieved the annual production and sales of 1.45 million vehicles, receiving revenue of 450.7 billion RMB; the profit increased by 4.7% year-on-year, realizing profit growth for two consecutive years.

On January 7, the 2023 Dakar Rally entered the eighth race day. No. 233 driver Zhang Guoyu (Pilot: JP. Garcin) of BAIC ORV Team did an excellent job and won the 10th place in the SS7 stage.

On December 16th, the 10th Xuanyuan Award 2023 was officially announced, ARCFOX αS the newest HI model won the Xuanyuan Special Award - Outstanding ADAS Performance Award for its outstanding performance in high-level intelligent driving.

On November 16, ARCFOX α-power won the "China Heart" New Energy Vehicle Power System Award. This is the second time BAIC GROUP has been recognized by the most well-known and influential automotive power system award in China after 2021. It is also the third time that the electric driving force system developed by BAIC won this award.
