On July 24th, the tenth edition of the China Electric Vehicle Rally (CEVR), which lasted for 5 days, came to a close. The international popular new energy vehicle models staged a thrilling showdown on an 8-stage, 1900-kilometer high-altitude track around Qinghai Lake, with each award going to its rightful owner.

On August 2nd, the 2023 Fortune Global 500 list was officially released. BAIC Group, a backbone of China’s automobile industry, was selected for the 11th consecutive year and ranked 193rd on the list with an operating income of 452.59 billion yuan.

Recently, BAIC Group released its half-yearly financial performance, showcasing impressive growth and success in the first half of 2023. The company achieved an operating income of 238.89 billion yuan, marking a significant year-on-year growth of 15.9%. The total profit also increased by 16% compared to the previous year. The production of complete vehicles reached 816,000 units, with a year-on-year growth of 24.1%, while the sales of complete vehicles reached 819,000 units, showing a year-on-year growth of 22.2%.　　

In June, BAIC achieved remarkable success. After winning the "Most Valuable Automotive Company" award in the 7th Zhitong Financial Listed Companies Selection.

Recently, the 2023 "Top 500 Most Valuable Brands in China" analysis report, published by the World Brand Lab, was officially released.

On May 16th, the 2022 China Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Science & Technology Award Ceremony took place. Nominated by BAIC GROUP and led by BAIC FOTON, the "Key Technology and Application for AMT Heavy-Duty Commercial Vehicle Development and Testing in Complex Scenarios" project was awarded the second prize of the 2022 China SAE Science & Technology Award.

On May 16th, the all-new generation of high-end BAIC smart heavy-duty truck grandly launched, marking that BAIC GROUP accelerated the implementation of commercial vehicle strategic layout with record-breaking speed of 127 days since its official launch on January 9th.

On April 18th, the Auto Shanghai 2023 officially kicked off. This was the first international auto show in China after the three-year special situation. Under the theme of "Towards the new, towards progress, towards the future", BAIC Group brought together its five major automotive brands to present their latest self-owned and joint venture products and core technologies at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).
