BAIC UNVEILED NEW MODELS AT THE AUTO SHANGHAI 2023

On April 18th, the Auto Shanghai 2023 officially kicked off. This was the first international auto show in China after the three-year special situation. Under the theme of "Towards the new, towards progress, towards the future", BAIC Group brought together its five major automotive brands, including ARCFOX, BAIC, BAIC Foton, Beijing Benz, and Beijing Hyundai, to present their latest self-owned and joint venture products and core technologies at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

This time, the BAIC brand showcased its full range of products, including 7 flagship models of three major series. A total of 11 models were displayed together on the exhibition stand.

1. ARCFOX KAOLA

This model was officially released on January 9th, 2023, and has garnered a lot of attention from consumers. It is a small-sized pure electric intelligent family car developed on ARCFOX's new platform. The overall appearance continues the family design language of ARCFOX models. The rounded front face design, as well as the black vertical strip design on both sides of the lower part connected by black decorative strips, gives an adorable appearance.

2. ARCFOX αS Forest Edition and αT Forest Edition

Based on keen insights into user needs, ARCFOX has created two "forest series" models, ARCFOX αS Forest Edition and ARCFOX αT Forest Edition, allowing people living in bustling cities to return to nature. These two models have a forest-like color of foggy gray and achieve comprehensive upgrades such as comfort, range, intelligence, and safety.

3. BAIC ALL NEW X7

This model was recently launched. Based on the original model, the new car has evolved in all aspects of space, design, power, and intelligence, creating an "extreme-comfort" ride for urban families, fully enhancing their daily travel experience and enjoyment from a practical perspective.

4. BJ60

The new car inherits the "off-road family" hardcore feature, retaining classic off-road combinations such as high pass-ability, non-load-bearing body, part-time four-wheel drive, and front and rear differential locks. The design of the non-load-bearing body and four-wheel independent suspension is a high-grade comfort configuration that only luxury cars have, which also gives it a sense of high quality. At the same time, it is equipped with various intelligent configurations, comprehensively enhancing driving happiness.

5. New Concept Car

The new concept car, called JOY, which is the culmination of years of practice of the BAIC design team and represents another advanced work that embodies the brand's design philosophy of "capital beauty". It is the design future of the next generation of BAIC products.

Technological innovation has become the focus of competition among automotive companies. In recent years, BAIC has implemented a technology innovation strategy and established "Tech BAIC", leading the industry in key technology fields such as EIC system, hydrogen fuel, intelligent connectivity, vehicle architecture, and off-road chassis, making technological innovation the key support for BAIC's high-quality development.

This time, BAIC brought a mini technology exhibition to the auto show. It showcased BAIC's technological strength in the field of EIC system through scenes of ARCFOX's full charging capabilities, all-weather battery pack, the award-winning α-power system, and the 480KW ultra-fast charging pile that won the International Design Award (IDA) Gold Award.
