ARCFOX recorded full-year sales of 163,000 units, up 101% year-over-year, doubling its sales for the second consecutive year. The ARCFOX T1 and the αT5 helped ARCFOX establish a monthly sales baseline of 20,000 units. BAIC posted full-year sales of over 200,000 units, up 38% year-over-year. The BJ40 held the top spot in hard-core off-road vehicle sales for 11 consecutive months, while the BJ40 ranked first among extended-range “boxy” SUVs for nine consecutive months. STELATO broke through to mainstream appeal with its striking design and strong performance, surpassing 10,000 monthly sales. Its brand philosophy of “self-indulgence” has resonated deeply with consumers, igniting a “new luxury revolution” and cementing its position as the top-selling new energy vehicle sedan in the RMB 300,000–500,000 segment. Single-month sales of the STELATO S9T, dubbed “the most beautiful wagon”, surpassed the full-year sales of comparable domestic models. BAIC Foton continued to press forward across its three core pillars of new energy, internationalization, and heavy trucks, maintaining its industry-leading position with annual sales exceeding 650,000 units and achieving a double top ranking in both new energy vehicle and export sales, while its heavy-truck segment posted the fastest growth in the industry.

Joint venture brands embraced the shift by rolling out a new wave of new energy vehicle products built on proprietary technology platforms and domestic supply chains. Beijing Benz marked its 20th anniversary, with the all-new pure-electric CLA, the first model on the MMA platform, rolling off the production line, as the company marches toward the milestone of 6,000,000 cumulative vehicles and 6,000,000 cumulative engines produced. Beijing Hyundai launched its “Smart Start 2030 Plan” initiative and brought its first pure-electric platform SUV, the EO, to market.

“Tech BAIC” builds “technology edge points”

First in China to Receive L3 Autonomous Driving Vehicle Type Approval

In 2025, BAIC continued to invest heavily in technological innovation, building “technology edge points” and steadily reinforcing its identity as “Tech BAIC”. On the intelligent and connected vehicle front, BAIC officially launched its intelligent connected technology framework, “BAIC Kosmos Intelligence”, which enables vehicles to evolve into “full-domain intelligent agents” through shared core large models, integrated data and ecosystem linkages, and multi-agent collaboration. ARCFOX became the first brand to receive type approval from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology for autonomous driving vehicle models, with a maximum permitted speed of 80 km/h, the highest in the industry. BAIC was also among the first recipients of dedicated L3 autonomous driving license plates nationwide, including plate number “京AA0001Z”. A drive motor rotor independently developed by Hainachuan successfully achieved an ultra-high speed of 55,000 RPM, setting a new industry benchmark.

At the China Society of Automotive Engineers Science and Technology Awards Ceremony 2025, three of BAIC’s technological achievements received Science and Technology Progress Awards: “Key Technologies and Applications for Healthy Cabin Development in Passenger Vehicles”, “Key Technologies and Industrialization of Power Domain Control for New Energy Off-Road Vehicles”, and “Key Technologies and Industrialization of High-Performance, Long-Life Fuel Cell Commercial Vehicles”.

Mission fulfillment demonstrates corporate responsibility

Supporting the modernization of the capital

As a pillar of China’s automotive industry and a flagship state-owned enterprise in Beijing, BAIC continued to reinforce its corporate image as a company that is “user-centric, innovation-driven, passionate, and responsible”, fulfilling its role as a stabilizing force in the state-owned economy and contributing to Beijing’s economic and social development.
