BAIC × G20 | BAIC South Africa Successfully Completes G20 Summit Service Support Mission
With the successful conclusion of the 2025 South Africa G20 Summit, BAIC South Africa has successfully wrapped up its transportation support mission for the event. Throughout the summit, BAIC South Africa’s service fleet delivered an exceptional “zero-malfunction” performance, completing all support tasks flawlessly and earning high praise from the summit organizing committee and distinguished guests.
At the heart of this support mission was the delivery of 20 service vehicles to DIRCO (South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation), comprising 10 flagship X55 models and 10 newly launched B30 models. At the handover ceremony held on the eve of the summit, these vehicles were formally inducted into the official summit fleet. During the summit, they served delegates and representatives, shuttling between the airport, main venue, and hotels, becoming a striking mobile presence throughout the event.
The X55, with its stylish and dynamic design paired with a spacious and comfortable interior, provided delegation members with an enjoyable travel experience. Beyond the 20 vehicles delivered to DIRCO, BAIC South Africa also supported the summit’s security framework by providing 40 support vehicles to South Africa’s Department of Transport, collectively establishing a robust transportation support network for the successful execution of the summit.
