Officially Joins BAlC Group

 

as Chief Design Officer and Vice President of Global Design, BAlC Group

Mr. Anthony Lo, renowned as a top-class automotive designer in the world, officially joined BAIC Design and took the position of Chief Design Officer and Vice President of Global Design, BAIC Group in October 2024.

 

As the world's top automotive designers,

Anthony Lo has extraordinary influence and reputation in the international

automotive design world.

His international design career began with Lotus Cars where he designed the distinctive Carlton and worked on other notable vehicles, such as the Isuzu 4200R concept.

In 1990, Lo worked on advanced design projects at Audi in Germany. He was involved in the Audi AVUS Quattro concept, which captured perfectly the vision of Audi brand and influenced the design of many cars in that era.

Later on, he was recruited by Mercedes-Benz to join its new advanced

design studio in Japan where he contributed to the F 200 Imagination,

Maybach Concept and heavily influenced the design of W221 S-Class with an internal concept.

Thereafter, Lo was the director of advanced design for General Motors Europe. He oversaw Saab, Opel and Vauxhall projects while at the helm, and most notably led development of the Saab Aero-X concept car. With Saab, Lo worked in Sweden as director of design at Saab.

As Renault’s vice president of exterior design from 2010-2021, Lo led his design team to invent specific design languages for an all new and distinguished Renault and Dacia product line-up. Moreover, he was instrumental in the development of Renault’s “Cycle of Life” design strategy to bring Renault brand to the forefront of design leadership.

In October 2024, Anthony Lo joined BAIC Group
